Either hyper roll or fast eight. If you don't have Last Whisper, you're probably griefing.
Mech Infil
Not only is this comp not dead, it's the best comp in the game. Get some Chain Vests, go six and roll. Put a Demolitionist in at seven and a Valk at eight. GG I guess.
Blaster Brawler
Despite the Rebel buffs, this is still the stronger of the two comps. I'm very uncertain about how to position Jinx as she seems to get targeted by a lot of ultimates, so maybe consider putting Ezreal in between Jinx and Blitz.
Also, I think Quicksilver is best on her as there's a ton of disruption in the game, like Graves. Why does he have a 50/80 four-second stun again? And as a one cost?
Chrono Valk
I'm surprised this comp is doing so well. I rarely see it in Diamond II, but it's one of the strongest comps in Challenger. I'll definitely be looking to spam some of this later.
Reminder to use Kai'Sa as an item holder for MF.
Shredder
Reddit gave us Pikachu and Challenger gave us Shredder. Last Whisper and some other stuff on Xayah, roll down, GG.
I wish I knew how to play this comp so I could give more info. I'll probably play it a bit on my EU smurf and report my findings.
Candyland
Basically Protector Mystics but with TF. The only reason this comp isn't insane is because it's so good, it's bad.
People contest it and Last Whisper is a huge item right now, so it's hard to first with the comp.
But just roll at four a bit, wait until you save your gold back up, roll again at five, and GG. You can also put AD items on TF, or put AP items on Poppy.
Dark Star
Are you Challenger? No? Just spam this comp for easy top fours then.
Consider going fast eight and rolling down for Jhin, Xerath and Lulu. No one contests the comp, so should be free.
Be sure to shield Jhin with Karma until you get Xerath and if you don't get Last Whisper, it's probably a sixth.
Cybernetic
Something something, two IEs is better, something something, winstreak with Red Buff.
Rebels
Same concept as Dark Stars: fast eight and roll.
Red Buff isn't that important in the comp and I think it's better to just stack heavy AD items on Jinx. I've had a lot of success with Deathblade and it's perfectly fine to go three AD items on Jinx as she has a 1k HP shield.
Meta Update
Can we just pretend Mech Infil isn't a comp?
What I got Right
- Bang Bros is definitely dead.
- Egirls is definitely dead.
- Dark Stars are solid.
- Two Vanguard not only is on par with two Brawler, it's actually better.
- Blaster Brawler is exactly the second-best comp. I'm nuts!
- Dark Stars is a middle-of-the pack comp. Called it.
- Chrono Valk is one of the best comps. I had it a little underrated, but we'll just say I'm right.
- Cybernetics are in the middle and I had them as the second-worst meta comp. We take those as well.
What I Got Wrong
- Mech Infil is not dead. I will never comment on this composition again, even if they literally remove Garen from the game. This comp is not only alive, but is the best comp in the game despite being nerfed a million times. Nice meme.
- Because of the meta, mostly Graves, I think Quicksilver is probably better than Trap Claw in most situations.
- Rebels isn't the best comp. It's actually the worst meta comp in the game.
- Four Brawlers is better than two Brawlers and two Vanguards. I dared to dream.
- Space Jam isn't a comp anymore.
- Pikachu isn't a comp, but I did qualify that I had no idea if it would be good. I'll still put this here though.
What I Didn't Know
- Double Strike no longer stuns twice on GP ultimate.
- I didn't know anything about Shredder until yesterday.
- I found out about Candyland like two days after my notes. Unlucky.
- Apparently there's a Val'Koz comp where you hyper roll Kha'Zix. It has three wins in Challenger, but I'll keep an eye on it.
