Fornari’s Patch 10.11 Notes Notes

TL:DR

  • Graves’s Blind lasts for one second less at levels one and two. Called it!
  • Shredder has been hurt significantly, but should still be one of the best comps.
  • You can position Cho’Gath more aggressively.
  • Last Whisper got a chunk taken out of it which could shake up the meta.

Game Changing

  • The newest Galaxy makes players smaller and starts you at 85 health. Better winstreak boi!
  • Graves’s blind lasts for 50 and 25 percent less time at levels one and two. Called it! Read all my articles or feed.
  • Xayah requires 40 percent more mana to ult, meaning seven autos instead of five. This, along with the J IV nerfs will really hurt Shredder. However, if no one contests Xayah, it should still be an easy top three.
  • Cho’Gath Requires 25 percent less mana to ult for the first time. Now, you should be able to put him in front unprotected and guarantee an ult. Big Brawler Blaster Buff and decent Void Brawler buff.
  • Last Whisper reduces 16.7 percent less armor. This is the most unpredictable change of the patch. It could completely kill Xayah and Irelia, it could lead to a resurgence of Candyland, or it could have no impact at all.

Major

  • Four Chrono procs 12.5 percent faster. Unsure why we’re buffing Chrono Valk, but okay.
  • Kha’Zix does 20 percent less ultimate damage at level three. Void Brawler was one of the top comps this set, so very good nerf.
  • Blitzcrank does 20, 12.5 and 5.6 percent less ultimate damage at levels one, two and three. This is a really intelligent nerf to Brawler Blaster as it could lead to Jinx requiring one more auto to kill Blitz’s target.
  • Kayle requires 16.7 percent more mana to ult, meaning seven autos instead of six. Requiring one more auto with Blademaster and four Chrono shouldn’t be that big of a deal and Chrono Valk should still be the best comp.

Minor

  • Infiltrators jump immediately instead of after a brief delay. If positioned correctly, this is a slight buff, but could lead to them being targeted more easily.
  • Jarvan IV gives 30 percent more attack speed at level one but 15 percent less at level three. This is a cute nerf to Shredder, but shouldn’t have much of an impact.
  • Master Yi has 6.3 percent more attack speed. We take Rebel buffs.

Insignificant

  • Caitlyn’s ultimate does 25 percent less damage at level three. Nice meme.
  • Lucian does 15.4 percent more ultimate damage at level three. I’ve probably seen a level-three Lucian less than five times this set.

Compositions

Pretty much the same thing but Mech Infil and Candyland might be a bit better.

Chrono Valk

Put three items on Kayle and see what happens honestly. Free wins.

Rebels

Surprisingly, this actually has a higher winrate in top-10 Challenger than Shredder. You can either go for a fast eight or hyper roll Ziggs.

Shredder

Ya hyper roll Xaya and put big items on her. Roll for some other stuff and get two Mystics. EZPZ.

Void Brawler

Turns out this comp is pretty good. People figured out you can just put AD items on Kha'Zix and use him as the primary carry. Just hyper roll for Kha, TF and Malphite and you're good to go.

Mech Infil

Press the D key at level six. Wow.

Brawler Blaster

Four Blasters, four Brawlers. Questions?

Korean Jhin

I have no idea what I'm doing :)

Candyland

Just uhhhh roll or something. This comp is probably playable since Last Whisper and Xayah got nerfed.

Fornari’s Guaranteed Third Place™ Mech Valk

I'm just going to copy and paste what I said last article because lazy:

"Do you hate getting contested? Do you hate hyper rolling? Are there a bunch of Rebel and Vel’Koz players in your lobby? Are you a for-fun player?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, mostly the last one, then this comp is for you!

Almost never hyper roll. Just level aggressively, winstreak, and by the time you start losing, everyone else will have half your health, and you’ll barely be losing anyway, so you’re guaranteed third.

Also, since you have so many GAs, you’ll always be the last to lose, annoying your opponents in the early game, and placing higher than the other idiots who died the same round as you."
