Fornari’s Patch 10.4 Notes Notes

TL:DR

  • Zerkers are back.
  • Husband-Wife is back.
  • Summ Sins are weaker, but not dead.
  • All my Preds are dead; push me to the edge.

Game Changing

  • Two Glacial's stun chance has been buffed by 25 percent, but all further levels do not increase stun chance. However, two Glacial now deals 75 damage on stun, while four and six deal 175 and 350 damage respectively. This effectively means Olaf stuns once every four attacks, has a higher likelihood of stun-locking champions, and essentially deals 18.75 damage per attack. Along with a few individual buffs to Olaf means only one thing: Zerkers are back baby!
  • Poison increases mana requirements by 34 percent less. Preds are dead lads, but Rangers should still be viable.
  • Lucian's ultimate deals 66.6 and 25 percent more damage at levels one and two. Husband-Wife is back mates!
  • You can now see the previous opponents you fought. I don't know why the hell this was removed in set two, but better admit to the mistake late than never.

Major

  • Taliyah starts with 40 percent less mana. I personally hate this champion and understand why they did this. It feels awful to have Taliyah snipe your carry in the early game, and I'm sure she has a high playrate in low Elo. However, I don't think the change was necessary and lowering the stun duration at level one should've been the most they did. As I said though, I hate the champion, so I personally like the change.
  • Azir starts with 23.3 percent less mana. This means he requires four attacks to ult instead of two. I don't think this will be as significant as people think, and if you pair this champion with a Karma, he'll still clap.
  • Olaf has 13.3 percent more health and gains 25 percent more attack speed at level one. This means transitioning is much easier and having a level-one Olaf isn't the end of the world. What this really means is Zerkers baby!

Minor

  • Two Crystal now takes 10 percent more damage. This means all Crystal champions will die in one less hit if they're taking maximum damage. This should only affect Ashe getting hit by something like Azir or a random Assassin, but shouldn't effect frontline champions much.
  • Ornn deals 25 percent more ultimate damage at levels one and two, and deals 50 percent more damage at level three. Technically a Zerker buff; we take those.
  • Senna's buff does 33.3 and 12.5 percent more damage. Did we just revert the nerfs orrrr?
  • Singed does 50 percent more ultimate damage at level one. I rarely see a level-one Singed and with the nerf to poison, I don't think this will change the times when Singed is picked. Inferno Singed players love to see this though.
  • Taric's ultimate lasts for 13.3 percent less time. I'd put this as insignificant if it wasn't a nerf to level-one Taric. You shouldn't notice the change at all at level two.
  • Zed has 10 percent more attack speed. If you can get a level-two Zed, this buff will be insane. However, it's really difficult to do so in Summ Sins, so I don't think this will be impactful.
  • There was a bug where Olaf would have his attack speed reduced even when in ult. They allegedly fixed this.

Insignificant

  • Nocturne has 14.3 percent more attack speed. Neat.

Compositions

I watched a video calling all TFT sites "piss poor" and "TERRIBLE." Yes, all caps. So I'm ready to accept my fate as a "piss-poor" site and make some bold predictions.

Ocean Mage

It's number one; shut up.

Summ Sins

They're still on top baby! Don't let the Azir haters tell you differently. However, Shojin and Guardian Angel are even more effective on him and can definitely take the place of Solari.

Inferno Shadow

No nerfs good. Comp good. SMOrc.

You can put AD items on Kindred as well.

Zerkers

I'm making some bold predictions. With the buffs to Zerkers, they're back lads and definitely better than Rangers. Don't @ me.

Be sure to put in Azir at level seven, Poison at level eight, then Azir back again at level nine. Also, Zephyr is an insane item in this comp. Consider investing.

Husband-Wife

Stack GS on Husband. Put Morello on Wife. GG.

Rangers

I feel obligated to put this comp in, but I think Rangers will be really weak. If two people are competing for Rangers, Azir and Yasuo comps were bodying you in 10.3. Now Ocean Mage and Zerkers are going to be more prevalent and the comp got nerfed. I wouldn't force Rangers ever, but they're probably still playable.

One Guinsoo's is also playable on Ashe by the way.

Yasuo

I don't know how to play this comp. It's probably still good.

Put Hand of Justice and two other items on Yasuo I think ¯_(ツ)_/¯
